It was a perfect day for baseball, 64 degrees with the sun shining. The Wiley Warren field looks great, and the smell of the popcorn coming from the freshly painted concession stand made us feel like we were at the DBAP.

The Caps and the Trojans squared off in what looked to be a pitchers dual, both teams were scoreless through 3.  Garner found the bat rack in the 4th, as the Caps defense struggled, Garner scored 3.  Broughton retaliated in the bottom half with a solo blast by Ben Eller. Garner continued getting the bat on the ball in the 5th, nothing strong, but 5 runs scored. Broughton answered with 2 runs but it was not enough to close the gap. Final Score Caps- 3 Garner-9

Record: Overall (0-1) Conference (0-0)
