Caps Win on Timely Hitting and Good Pitching

Sr. Payne Eller got the opening day start, going 5 strong innings and giving up one run. Sr. Pierce Jensen closed the door on the Trojans pitching two scoreless innings to pick up the save.

Offensively the Caps only had two hits, but made them count.  Jr. Will Cooper hit a Monster Solo Home run in the third to tie it up and Sr. Pierce Jensen came up big with a two out RBI double in the sixth. Final Score 2-1
