Final Scrimmage before Opening Day-Saturday Feb 27th 11:00am Wiley Warren Field (BHS) Broughton Baseball takes on Fuquay Varina

The Broughton Caps will take on Fuquay Varina in their final scrimmage before opening day next Tuesday against Garner HS.  The scrimmage is scheduled for 11:00am Feb 27th at Wiley Warren Field (Broughton).  The Caps did not play FQ last year but there is no love lost between the two schools.  They have met several times in the state playoffs.  Sanderson knocked off FQ in the 2nd round of the 09 State playoffs before ending the Caps run in the 3rd.  The weather looks nice high of 50 and partly cloudy. The Caps will open the regular season Tuesday March 2nd against Garner HS.  The Caps defeated the Trojans in their only meeting last year.  The game is scheduled for 4:00 at Garner HS.
